Where are you in the world right now?
Currently in Brazil, playing a show tomorrow together with Diplo, John Summit & Meduza.

What was the last club you played at and which country was it in?
My last show was open air club venue Marchica, in the  Pyrenees in Spain in a small town called Formigal. It was a crazy show 6000 people in the snow.

How did you come up with the name Quintino?
Actually a funny story, my real name is Quinten. But when I was a teenager I worked in an Italian restaurant in my hometown. The Italian owner always called me ‘Quintino’, so it kinda became my nickname.
What would you say was the golden moment in your career?
Playing Tomorrowland mainstage for the first time. Its one of the biggest stages and also with a livestream where millions of people are watching so to be able to play that was crazy and I even got to bring my family so that was definitely one of the highlights of my career so far.

Who has been your favourite artist to work with, and why?
Well hard to say which one is my favourite. I always enjoy working with Hardwell. We’ve been friends for over 15 years.. But working with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and also Steve Aoki is always amazing and we create amazing music together.

What projects do you have coming up this year?
This year been focussing on a lot of music collaborations. Already released ‘Name of Your DJ’ together with 3arelegend (DVLM & Steve Aoki). Collaboration with Hardwell will be released beginning of March. And some other big collabs are coming this year which I will be teasing in my Ministry of Sound set. So come down to find out which collabs are coming 😉

What tracks have really been going off in your sets recently, are there any tracks from up and coming producers you’ve been playing out?
There is this one track that hits very hard, Bassline Rumble by Curbi. Crazy track and such a talented producer.

What’s your favourite thing or things to do in London?
Eat! There are some of the best restaurants here, so I always like to go out and find some good spots to eat.

When you’ve performed at Ministry of Sound in the past were there any tracks back then that you still play now, if so… What tracks are they?
Well.. I always 99% only my own music, so when you come to my show its 100% a Quintino show. So when you come down you always get the classics & all the fresh new music. But one that’s always in there has to be EPIC!

Finally… What can you promise fans ahead of your set on Friday 17th March, will you be playing any unreleased music?
Yes.. Like I said before, there is a lot of new music coming. The release schedule is packed with 1 or 2 releases every month, including some big collabs coming. So come down and check out all the
