Joy Orbison has produced a remix of his recent hit single ‘flight fm’, debuted in a brand new video from Chelsea FC unveiling the club’s 2024-25 kit.
The announcement video was shared by the football club’s official Twitter on Wednesday, July 17, explaining: “Joy Orbison bringing the fire with this bespoke edit of his seminal track ‘flight fm’ – the biggest underground sound of the year.”

The video features futuristic, sci-fi-inspired visuals alongside Joy O’s darker garage remix, revealing the phrase: “We Burn Blue”. The clip includes a number of Chelsea players, including breakthrough star Cole Palmer, Lauren James, and Reece James. Check it out below.

‘flight fm’ was released in January 2024 via XL Recordings after months of anticipation. Joy Orbison previously teased the track at various festivals and club nights over the summer of 2023.

Prior to that, Joy Orbison released a collection of highly requested club tracks from his personal archive stretching back to 2009 – 2010 named ‘archive 09-10’. Last summer, he also released his popular single with Kwengface and Overmono, ‘Freedom 2′.
The genre-crossing producer is set to appear at festivals including Houghton, We Out Here, and Dekmantel this summer, as well as BICEP‘s ‘CHROMA IN THE PARK’ show at Finsbury Park in August.
