Little Simz to curate 30th edition of Southbank Centre’s Meltdown Festival
Meltdown Festival will return to London’s Southbank Centre this summer, with a line-up curated by Mercury Prize-winning rapper Little Simz.
Set to take over the the Thames-side arts centre from Thursday, June 12 to Sunday, June 22 — Meltdown is set to once again feature 11 days of music and arts events, alongside two weekends of free-to-attend events from a number of grassroots collectives and local organisations.
Little Simz will be performing during the UK’s longest-running artist-curated festival alongside a line-up that will be announced in the Spring.

FUSE announces international debut with Malta edition for 2025
London-based tech-house party starter FUSE has announced its debut international event, heading to the Mediterranean for FUSE Malta this September
While the exact location for the three-day festival are yet-to-be-announced, organisers have promised “unique locations and breathtaking locations” alongside boat parties, after-parties and “secret pop-ups.”
FUSE has also confirmed the first names on the line-up for FUSE Malta, including honcho Enzo Siragusa, Seth Troxler, Saiorse, The Ghost, Josh Baker, Rarest, tiNI and many more.

Kappa FuturFestival adds Kerri Chandler, Sally C, Kettama and more to complete 2025 line-up
Turin’s Kappa FuturFestival has added 37 new artists to its 2025 line-up, with FJAAK, Sally C, Kettama, Kerri Chandler, Floating Points and more confirmed to Parco Dora Torino this July.
Marking the 12th edition of one of Northern Italy’s biggest electronic events, Kappa FuturFestival has also announced a handful of exciting B2Bs for this year’s event, including Tale Of Us’ alum Anyma b2b Solomun, Dennis Cruz b2b The Martinez Brothers and Detroit meets Chicago with DVS1 b2b Traxx.
The new additions join an already stacked line-up featuring Carl Cox, Caribou, Dixon, Francesco del Garda b2b Ben UFO, Peggy Gou, Eris Drew and Octo Octa and many, many more.

Jordan’s Mediana Festival announces full 2025 line-up after postponed 2024 edition
Mediana Festival has announced the full list of names set to descend upon Jordan’s ancient city Petra this spring.
With last year’s edition having been postponed, Mediana Festival will return to the ancient UNESCO World Heritage Site and the nearby Wadi Rum Valley across May 21-26.
This year’s billing features a plethora of underground electronic talent, including Ame, Aline Umber, Bedouin, Ben Sterling, HVOB, Jimi Jules, Mind Against, Patrice Bäumel, Rolbac, Sonja Moonear and more.

Oslo’s Øya Festival adds BICEP, Kelly Lee Owens, and Pa Salieu to 2025 line-up
Øya Festival has revealed the latest wave of artists heading to the Norwegian capital this summer, taking place at Oslo’s Tøyen Park from August 5 – 9.
Promising to bring a mixture of “star names, cult favourites and essential breaking talent”, this year’s bill welcomes the likes of Yung Lean & Bladee, Pa Salieu, Kelly Lee Owens, and plenty more.
This year’s edition will also see BICEP bring their audiovisual show CHROMA show to Oslo, debuting at Øya for the first time.

Defected bring Cinthie, Carl Craig, Honey Dijon, and more to 2025 Malta edition
Defected has locked in more than 50 initial names for its fourth edition in Malta, taking place this October across four days.
This year’s event will go ahead from October 2 – 5 across four venues, featuring a selection of Defected talent and “rising stars”. The bill this year includes debuts from Honey Dijon, Purple Disco Machine, A-Trak, and more.
Elsewhere on the line-up, Carl Craig, Cinthie, Ella Knight, Groove Armada, Sam Divine, Thakzin, Terry Farley, TSHA, and more have been announced, with plenty more still yet to come.

Amsterdam’s DGTL Festival has unveiled its 2025 night-time programming
DGTL Festival returns to Amsterdan across April 18 to 20 for its thirteenth edition. The night-time programming for 2025, hosted at NDSM Docklands from, has now been revealed. The opening night runs from 10:PM to 5:AM, with Saturday and Sunday nights running from 11:PM to 5:AM.
Friday: Bubble Love (Ross From Friends), CC:DISCO! & Suze Ijó, Jasper Tygner [live], JUNGLE [DJ SET], Malou.
Saturday: Lovefoxy, Mall Grab, Marcel Dettmann [house set], Moody Mehran.

Monegros Desert Festival announces 90 artists for 2025 edition
Monegros Desert Festival, which brings rave culture to the arid climes of Aragon in Spain, has revealed the first wave of names set to appear across its vast 13 stages. More than 150 artists will play, spanning sounds such as techno, house, drum ‘n’ bass, hip hop, dub, reggae, psytrance and more, with a capacity for 50,000 attendees.
Artists set to feature include Pendulum Live, Nico Moreno, I Hate Models, Andres Campo, Richie Hawtin, Indira Paganotto, Laurent Garnier, Fatima Hajji, SPFDJ, Héctor Oaks, Mind Against, Cinthie, Quest, Shy FX, Layla Benitez, Enzo Siragusa, Rødhåd, Len Faki, Joseph Capriati, Clara Cuvé, Adam Beyer and Priku.
Stage collaborations come from the likes of Awakenings, Brunch Electronik, Unreal Germany and 240 km/h, with the latter serving up ‘F2F’ sets, which “heighten the playful competition inherent in DJ showdowns, with a custom set up ratcheting up the intensity.”
