Alison Wonderland makes a cameo appearance as a DJ in a nightclub scene in the recently released horror film MaXXXine.

She hinted at the appearance last month via a post on Twitter, in which she said, “go see MaXXXine and maybe u will spot a really cool dj in the movie.”

In the post, she also congratulated her fiancé, the American filmmaker Ti West who wrote and directed the film, sharing a photo of the couple taken at MaXXXine’s premiere, at which they appeared with their son Max, who was born last year.

The post read, “don’t usually post about my personal life on here but last night my fiancé had the premiere of his movie MaXXXine. I can’t even begin to really explain how hard this man has worked for his vision.”

She continued, “This was the last movie of an incredible trilogy and it couldn’t have been created by a better human. I am so proud of him and the cast (who are the most talented people ever).”

She has also posted a tweet featuring a grainy screenshot from the MaXXXine trailer, in which she said, “We all know who the real star of the #MaXXXine trailer is”, as well as reposting an A24 trailer for the movie which features a close up shot of her in action.

The slasher film was released in the UK on July 5, starring Mia Goth as Maxine Minx, an adult film str who gets her break as a Hollywood actress in the 1980s, landing the lead role in a horror film, but finds herself stalked by a mysterious serial killer (based on the real life murderer Richard Ramirez). The soundtrack was written by Tyler Bates.

It’s the third instalment of Ti West’s ‘80s witty horror trilogy, following on from 2022 films X, which it is a direct sequel to, and its prequel Pearl: An X-traordinary Origin Story.
