Clasico has launched a new, global-focused compilation series – with the t edition ‘Superclásico Vol. 1′ set to land on the Local Action sibling label on February 29.

The 16-track compilation features contributions from artists across North America, the UK and Australia — including Miami’s Conffintexts, Brooklyn’s WTCHCRFT, London-based producer Nite Fleit and more.

Launched in 2023, Clasico is curated and operated by London-based DJ and producer, ELEANOR. The new series is set to feature a “family tree” of label affiliates and the “cutting-edge of global club music.”

The label posted to Instagram to share news of the compilation, prompting featured artist Martyn Bootyspoon to comment: “I can only say ‘SuperClásico’ as if I am wearing my Versace shirt sleazily unbuttoned after a martini.”

Clasico made its debut with the release of Conffintexts’ EP, ‘Touch‘ in 2023 — speaking toMixmag shortly after the release, she described being “honoured” at being involved “so early in the label’s journey”

“Their drive and excitement was very motivating, and it’s been very heartwarming to receive such consistent support on the release already — because I am very pleased with it sonically.”

‘Superclásico Vol. 1’ is available for pre-order now on Bandcamp.
