Clasico has launched a new, global-focused compilation series – with the t edition ‘Superclásico Vol. 1′ set to land on the Local Action sibling label on February 29.

The 16-track compilation features contributions from artists across North America, the UK and Australia — including Miami’s Conffintexts, Brooklyn’s WTCHCRFT, London-based producer Nite Fleit and more.

Launched in 2023, Clasico is curated and operated by London-based DJ and producer, ELEANOR. The new series is set to feature a “family tree” of label affiliates and the “cutting-edge of global club music.”

The label posted to Instagram to share news of the compilation, prompting featured artist Martyn Bootyspoon to comment: “I can only say ‘SuperClásico’ as if I am wearing my Versace shirt sleazily unbuttoned after a martini.”

“Their drive and excitement was very motivating, and it’s been very heartwarming to receive such consistent support on the release already — because I am very pleased with it sonically.”
