Courtesy has released a new single ‘Violence of the Moodboard’ and announced a new EP to be out next month.

The single will feature on her upcoming EP of the same name which is out next month via her Copenhagen-based label Kulør.

Also on the EP is a cover of the trance classic ‘Hearts’ by L.S.G. which sees the artist’s take on the well-known original with her own blend of synths and an ambient twist.

The title of the EP and single is lifted from an essay by fashion critic and curator Jeppe Ugelvig called Adam Pendleton and the Issue of Originality in the Digital Age.

The essay – much like Courtesy’s new EP – explores the complexity and appropriation of copyright infringement for artists.

‘Violence of the Moodboard’ is made up of three tracks that come from Courtesy’s fashion-adjacent work which has been featured in fashion shows and videos.
