Italy’s DJ Tennis has launched a brand new cooking show airing exclusively on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, titled Munchietown.

The first episode was released on Instagram on December 27, 2023, alongside Paul Delrez, head chef at London restaurant LULA, as well as fellow DJ and producer Traumer.

DJ Tennis, who’s also known for his culinary expertise, explained that this was “just the start” for Munchietown, with part two coming imminently where they’ll be “brainstorming about the dishes to shopping for ingredients”, as well as some “really spicy talks and BTS”.

“Welcome to Munchietown,” DJ Tennis announced last week. “I’m thrilled to be here with my esteemed friend and top-notch Chef, Paul Delrez, as well as my favourite DJ, Roman aka Traumer.”

The first episode saw the trio link up to create Pasta a le Vongole, a linguine dish served with clams. “Our day was a whirlwind of creativity and laughter,” the Life & Death founder added. “One thing It’s clear that food and music truly unites us.”

In an additional post this week, he explained that the launch of the cooking show was like a “dream come true” having owned his own restaurant in the past, and hosting cooking events at the likes of ADE and Miami Music Week.

The producer has confirmed that episodes of Munchietown will air weekly with plenty more “exciting stuff we can’t wait to share with you” on the horizon.

“My fascination lies in the concept of engaging with diverse cultures by exploring different countries and connecting with their culture on a deeper level,” he said. “This includes immersing in their gastronomy, which serves as well as music, as two of the most unifying elements in life.”
