GAIKA announces new album ‘Drift’

GAIKA is releasing a new album titled ‘Drift’ via Big Dada Recordings on September 8.

The 14-track LP is described as his “most expansive work to date”, infusing a myriad of genres including grime, dancehall, R&B, hip hop and electronic into shape-shifting club-vocal-rap hybrids that explore themes of love, pain and identity.

The album includes collaborations with KIDÄ on production, as well as contributions from Max Winter, Azekel, Charlie Stacey, Brbko and bbymutha, who features on psychedelic lead single ‘LADY’.

It marks his first release on Ninja Tune sub-label Big Dada, having previously released across the likes of Warp Records, Mixpak and NAAFI.
