Houghton has announced the first wave of acts set to perform at this year’s edition, including Mala, Barker, Skee Mask and more.
Sharing the initial schedule via Instagram at 10:AM this morning, the Norfolk-based festival has dubbed this year’s event “year 2” — sharing that last year’s edition “came nearer to the festival we envisaged eight years ago whilst it was in its infancy.”
Houghton was plagued by cancellations for three consecutive years from 2019-2021; with 2022’s edition marking only its third event since its debut in 2017.
Returning to Norfolk from August 8-11, this year’s edition of Houghton will see the return of a curated line-up of underground electronic acts as well as broader acts such as Deptford’s Jazz group Steamdown.

Spearheaded by founder Craig Richards, Houghton will return with its trademark 24-hour schedule, extended DJ set times and more.
Alongside the sculptural fixtures of the park, this year, Houghton aims to install its art, wellness area and food, further details to be announced.
Organisers reveal festival goers should expect a lack of smartphone reception, with the beneficial outcome of “complete immersion in the moment.”
