Killa Ki is studying a masters degree in science at Oxford University

Former South London rapper Killa Ki has announced that he will be studying a masters degree in science at Oxford University.

After retiring from music in 2019, Ki went on to study at London College of Fashion and has now started his masters degree at Oxford University.

The Russell Group University has also awarded Ki with a scholarship for academic excellence.

“The Astounding Academic Journey Continues” writes Ki in his announcement on Instagram.

The rapper reveals in a previous post that he left his secondary school on Old Kent Road with no GCSE’s but as he expands on his Instagram Story, he saw Malcolm X as inspiration to go back into education.

His Instagram Story includes an image of the book Malcolm X At Oxford Union and reads: “This was a full circle moment as this is the first book I read in Oxford after registering for my Masters”.

He continues: “Those who know a lil about my story know it was reading Malcolm X autobiography at 23 years old is what inspired me to change my life and to go back to education”.

Killa Ki as a rapper is best known for his single ‘Ard Wave’ featuring Tiny Boost, Snap Capone, and Giggs as well as his final album, ‘Farda’ which features the likes of Skepta and Lancey Foux.
