Adaptations – Leeds’ largest multi-venue electronic music party – has announced its return this autumn.

Taking place on September 30, six stages will pop up across venues Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen, Headrow House and House of Fu.

Amongst those announced on the first wave of programming include headliner Skee Mask, who will be playing b2b with Illian Tape founders Zenker Brothers.

Other names involved include Panorama Bar regular Gabrielle Kwarteng, Surusinghe, with a special set from Tsuniman. Check out the full line-up, packed with local underground selectors, here.

“Adaptations was started as a reaction to COVID and seeing the shift that happened within the scope of parties and raving,” explains founder Andrew Devine. “We’ve been blessed the past couple of years with some of the biggest and best parties Leeds have ever seen and this year is going to be no different.

“In the words of Zenker Brothers: ‘We don’t care about the hype, we just do what we love!’”

Further line-up announcements are pending across the summer months, however this year’s instalment is proposed to be “very special” with a full day-to-night programming promised including a record fair, inclusive events and “much still to be announced”.

Its creative production is equally championing of the local: expect guest soundsystems, artwork and lighting installations by artists from the area to reinvent the already unique event spaces.
