We teamed up with A|X ARMANI EXCHANGE to bring you some of the UK’s favourite party-starters, Facta and Manami, at Sound Exchange, our event showcasing a new dimension in style and sound.

The latest Sound Exchange event got going at Mixmag HQ on May 25 featuring Wisdom Teeth co-founder Facta and Noods Radio regular Manami. Both London-by-Bristol acts performed over the course of two hours, bringing the party direct to the Mixmag dancefloor – and you can listen back to their furious bass-weighted sets right here.

Facta eased into his hour-long performance with a span of minimal and downtempo cuts before weaving his way toward a high-octane finale. As he ramped up the pace, Facta brought the energy with a scope of crowd pleasers including Pangaea’s ‘Installation’ and Sarah Farina’s ‘Get It Gurl’. Over the hour, Facta showcased his shapeshifting style and spectrum of sounds – from bubbling club cuts to vocal-led pop and garage tracks. Check it out below.

Meanwhile, Manami jumped straight into the action driving the crowd into frenzy with a remix of Orbital’s ’94 classic ‘Are We Here?’ from fellow Bristol affiliate Shanti Celeste. Shifting weight between brooding house tracks, 130 BPM garage cuts and full-blown bass bangers, Manami flowed through her hour-long set with effortless ease and received an enormous hands-in-the-air response in return. Check it out below.
