Busy P AKA Pedro Winter added: “Releasing this soundtrack with two of my all-time favourite artists felt like a natural and obvious choice! Since ‘Steak’ in 2007, Ed Banger Records has released most of Quentin Dupieux’s original soundtracks. Bangalter has been broadening his musical horizons beyond electronic music and working on solo projects since the Robots split in 2021. Last year he released ‘Mythologies’, his first composition for orchestra, performed by the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine under the direction of Romain Dumas. It was originally composed for a French ballet of the same name, co-created by choreographer Angelin Preljocaj.

He previously co-wrote the soundtrack for 2010 sci-film Tron: Legacy as part of Daft Punk.

Though Daft Punk split in 2021, former collaborator and session drummer Quinn, recently revealed the French-electronic duo are sitting on a fifth album: “I keep checking in. I’m told they’re working on it,” Quinn, revealed.
