London queer party Crossbreed announces new weekly residency at Corsica Studios

London-based queer party Crossbreed has announced a new Sunday residency at South London’s Corsica Studios.

Starting November 20, the sex-positive, fetish crew will be taking over the Elephant and Castle club every Sunday for the foreseeable future.

Alex Warren, who DJs under the moniker Kiwi, party’s founder told Mixmag: “It’s going to be a bit smaller, more intimate.

“I think we can really create a real buzz, an energy [at Corsica Studios],” they continued. “It will feel a lot closer – the team and staff there are really amazing and the venue is a lot more accessible, which is great for us.”

They also are planning new ways to interact with the space compared to their previous home at The Colour Factory. Warren said: “We’re building whole new playroom, which is exciting. It’s slightly different in terms of design compared to what we’ve done previously.

“I think people can expect it to be busy, because we’ve halved our capacity and we sold out all our early bird tickets in two minutes,” they continued. “We’ve got more

The first party will host Ostgut Ton affiliate Nick Höppner, and other highlight bookings include Josh Caffe, Hammer, fka.m4a, Mr Ties and nd_baumecker.

On top of its music policy, Crossbreed is known for having its sex-positive playrooms, spaces where partygoers can engage in fetish and sexual activities. They also have staff who patrol the club monitoring any inappropriate or harassing behaviour – identifiable by their light-up armbands.
