Mountain NRG

Background

Mountain NRG started as a mobile DJ in the mid-80s. He didn’t know how to mix but after buying a set of turntables and a 2 channel mixer he soon became confident in beat-matching records. He left the DJing scene for some years and only took it up again recently. He decided to get a better understanding of the whole mixing process so then to purchased an online DJing course. And none better than the Club Ready DJ School. Huge thanks to Andrew and his course for giving Mountain NRG a better understanding of music structure and how phrasing works.

So now, all new to him is this world of digital DJing with beat grids and digital media players which he hadn’t heard of back when he was DJing parties and small events. This is a bit about Mountain NRG.  He hopes the mixes on here are fun to listen to.
