Michael Bibi is set to perform in front of a 45,000-strong crowd at Finsbury Park this Summer, as part of his ‘One Life‘ tour.

Billed as London’s “biggest ever” electronic show, the event will mark the DJ and producer’s homecoming following a break from performance last year as he underwent treatment for cancer.

Reportedly in partnership with Creamfields, Finsbury Park is the first location to be announced for the One Life tour — with the Solid Grooves boss announcing the news via Instagram yesterday (January 17).

“LDN. The city I was raised, the place I got my schooling in electronic music & the town I was treated to fight cancer. 06.07.24 we dance in celebration of life, the power of never giving up & to show support to the people that helped save my life @royalmarsden cancer charity” wrote Bibi.

The tour, billed as a “global celebration of life, music, and the human spirit,” will see a percentage of proceeds go towards various charities. Crucially, among them is the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which funds the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, where Bibi received treatment.

Fans will be able to donate to Royal Marsden Cancer Charity when purchasing tickets for the tour.

Associate Director of Public Fundraising and Engagement at The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, Vicky Johnson, said: “We’re hugely grateful to Michael for his generous support of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity as part of his upcoming London show.”

The former Mixmag cover star was diagnosed with (CNS) lymphoma last year, a rare form of cancer that effects the central nervous system. Following intensive treatment, Bibi revealed he was cancer-free this December — just six months after being diagnosed.

Bibi appeared in Ibiza for a surprise set at the Solid Grooves closing party last October in an emotional performance as the DJ was seen behind the decks for the first time since his diagnosis. “I’m excited to celebrate life,” says Bibi.

Tickets are set to go on sale Friday, January 26, at 9:AM GMT.
