We’re heading to the heart of Kenya this weekend to kick off The Lab Nairobi, a one-off event bringing together the leading players in Nairobi’s dance music scene.
We’ll be taking over a stage at Gondwana x Komplex, a one-day festival taking place on Sunday, March 31, at Nairobi’s Railway Museum.
Nairobi-based music brands Gondwana and Komplex join forces for the first time to bring a unique experience to the Kenyan capital, a move Komplex co-founder Foozak says “represents a convergence of creativity, passion, and innovation”.

The Komplex x Mixmag stage brings a headline set from Ibiza-based DJ Fiona Kraft, as well as performances from Foozak, Dylan S, Euggy, Shi, and Tristan Urwin.
Elsewhere on the day, headliners Enoo Napa and Caiiro will perform back-to-back on the Dwanaland Stage, alongside artists including SURAJ, Vidza, and STARBOY NATION.
“We’re excited to partner with Gondwana to create an experience that celebrates the ever-growing diversity and talent within Kenya’s electronic music landscape,” says Dylan-S, co-founder of Komplex.

Komplex is an events brand hosting late-night parties in aircraft hangers, industrial warehouses, and basement parking lots across the Kenyan capital. Meanwhile, music collective Gondwana is famed for its Sunday sundowner parties and Afro house label.
“We’re proud to be part of a movement that is redefining the perception of electronic music in Kenya,” says Gondwana & Komplex co-founder Euggy. “This collaboration is a testament to the vibrant community of artists, producers, and enthusiasts who are driving the scene forward.”
