MEET: MY MATE DAVE

Some of the best nights I ever had were Dreamscape & Revelation….although hazy, these memories will live with me forever!!! After rave in my early days I developed a love for trance and drum & bass. Some awesome nights were had at a club in Newquay called Tall Trees….awesome days!! Check out these pictures from back then.

Some DJs that really inspired me and still do, are LTJ Bukem, Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold and Pete Tong.

These days I’m the founder of Club Ready Radio and play mainly Tech House and have a love for liquid D & B. I play regular slots on Tuesdays and Fridays on the radio.

I currently mix on my DDJ 800 with a set of HD25 headphones and I love it,  it’s all I need.

I learned to DJ using Youtube to start with but found I hit a wall, until I found the Club Ready Tribe and Andrew Duffield. His course really helped me focus and my skills developed really quickly. This is also where I found some of the most inspirational people I’ve ever met!!! The tribe!!! They will never really know how grateful I am for everything they have done and for all the help they gave me to launch Club Ready Radio. I’m literally following my dream and couldn’t do it without them!!!

Anyway that’s enough soppy bollox ha ha, let’s get back to music!!

One of the most influential albums I ever listened to and still do today, is Logical Progression by LTJ BUKEM….it never gets old and is a timeless classic!!
