Poté has released his latest EP, ‘Pink Fire Theory’.

It follows a huge summer for the producer and DJ, who opened for Bonobo at the Royal Albert Hall and played a plethora of festivals across Europe.

‘Pink Fire Theory’, available on his own imprint Versicolor, explores poignant themes of self, friendship and love in true Poté style: percussive, yet poetic. Both tunes are layered with etheral vocals gliding over the euphoric rhythmic melody, emphasising the emotionally-driven nature of the record.

“These songs (especially ‘Say Too Much’) serve as my sticky notes on a bathroom mirror,” Poté explains. “It’s my reminder to be open to love and the world with all its complexities and hurt that it may carry. These songs are me documenting that journey, it’s an act of freedom.”

His sounds are consistently unique, exploring such from his first late 2018 full-length release, fusing raucous underground beats with healthy doses of bass and nostalgic hits. In 2020, the artist featured in Mixmag’s Lab LDN Lockdown Special, offering a huge percussive house set.
