PRVNA has shared her latest EP, ‘Move My Hips’.

The record channels afro-house grooves throughout, with a dancefloor-focused energy from beginning to end.

Opener ‘All Day’ offers a four-to-the-floor kick drum affair with syncopated, rhythmic shakers, immediately embodying the EP’s title. Added to the South London producer’s smooth vocals and layered whispers, it makes way for previously released singles ‘Move My Hips’ and ‘Only U’, before soulful ‘Work On Me’ and fiery ‘Fantasy’ take the reins.

“This EP has been a real journey to womanhood for me,” she explains. “The project starts with an almost innocence – delicate and pretty, and transforms into something dark and demanding- with bold and brazen lyrics. It is an invitation from me: to feel good, push boundaries, take up space – and if you can, move your hips”.

PRVNA’s artistry comprises a rich tapestry of genres and varied cultural influences, woven together with a continual ode to tropical islands and uplifting dance music. With previous releases via NeedWant and Nervous Records, she has already been supported by names including Jyoty, Jess Iszatt and Danny Howard.
