Space Ibiza has announced it will open a new venue in Italy next year, Space Riccione.
Naming itself the “new generation club”, Space Riccione is set to include four areas — the Arena, Garden, Terrace and Lounge.
Opening in Spring 2024, the club is also described to be “a reference point for international club culture from the very beginning” with performances running through day and night from a variety of acts and international DJs.

Posting the news on Instagram, the team behind space wrote: “It’s coming” — along with an Italian phrase which translates to “Freedom, transgression, love, diversity, harmony, friendship, empathy, connection and music.”
The venue is thought to be located in Riccione, on Italy’s Adriatic Coast — close to San Marino and Rimini Airport. The team behind the new venue have already created social media pages for Space Riccione, with the tagline: “Space Ibiza announces moves to Italy – becoming Space Riccione!”
Legendary owner of the Space brand, Pepe Roselló, says: “We are happy to continue 27 years of Space Ibiza history here in Riccione, an iconic place that represents entertainment.”
He continued: “Love for music and mutual respect, the main characteristics of all our events, will also be central to this new experience, which we all believe in so much.”
After 27 years, Space Ibiza closed its doors seven years ago with a closing party which included sets from Carl Cox, Maceo Plex, Tale of Us and Darius Syrossian.

Rumours of Space reopening have spiralled since its closure in 2016, with the latest in 2021 reporting that Pepe Roselló said it would be a bar, restaurant, and club night in Ibiza’s San Antonio.
This reopening of what was once one of the most iconic clubs in Ibiza was made possible by ECulture – an international equity marketing and entertainment company – and the luxury dining company, Cipriani Group.
